The MBS Coordinator Committee serves as a dedicated resource and professional community for metabolic and bariatric surgery coordinators within ASMBS. This committee focuses on supporting coordinators in their essential role within bariatric programs by promoting collaboration, education, quality improvement, long-term outcome tracking, and alignment with MBSAQIP standards. Through this work, the committee helps strengthen program success, support patient-centered care, and advance excellence across the field.
We are currently issuing a call for coordinators for this committee. Any ASMBS member is welcome to apply by answering the questions below and submitting the required documents. We encourage those with an interest in supporting coordinator engagement, program quality, and the continued growth of metabolic and bariatric surgery programs to apply.
